Canyoning

Trip reports, videos and photos of Canyoning trips. My trips reports from 2012 onwards are generally well detailed with timings and notes as I really only started keeping detailed notes and logs since 2012. Some of these may have a track log as I now like to record the route taken with my GPS.

The Trip Reports cover canyons in NSW in the following areas:

  • Wollangambe, Mt Wilson and Bowens Creek
  • Newnes Plateau (Newnes Forest) and Gardens of Stone NP
  • Kananagra
  • Canyons accessible from the Bells Line of Road , such as the Carmarthen Labyrinth and North Grose Valley areas
  • Katoomba Canyons
  • Southern NSW Covers areas in Southern NSW such as the Illawarra Region and Bungonia.

Kanangra

What an amazingly rugged part of the world. Everything out here is steep. Really steep. You don’t see many topo maps with contour lines this tight.
